Hello! Finally saw these limited edition Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Rite Aid the other day. The collection is called Pastels on Point, and all the shades have cute ballet themed names. There are three other shades, all cremes, but I skipped those in favor of the three shimmer toppers.
These shades are sheer and never truly build up to full opacity, but that's fine with me since they are clearly intended to be so. I think they make amazing layering polishes! For all of these shades, I did a skittle mani with different combos. From thumb to pinky, I'm wearing the polish on its own, over black (Wet N Wild Black Creme), over a shade that shares the same base hue, a shade with a contrasting base hue, and over a pale pinky-nude (Orly Decades of Dysfunction). I think this should give you an idea how versatile they can be!
First up is Sally Hansen Tulle Kit (how cute is that name?!) a blue sheer shimmer with some pink and silver sparkle. My thumb has three coats, my pointer has one, and the rest have two.I love how these shades can look delicate over one shade, and super intense and edgy or another! Middle finger is NYC Rain Drop, Ring is Sally Hansen Peach Beach.
Next is Sally Hansen Tutu Pretty, a sheer salmon shimmer with gold and pink sparkle. Again, my thumb is three coats, pointer is one, and the rest are two. Middle finger is China Glaze Surreal Appeal, ring is China Glaze For Audrey.
My favorite, Sally Hansen Take The Leap is a sheer lavender shimmer with blue, gold, and pink sparkle. I love this so much, especially over the green! Once again, Three coats on my thumb, one on pointer, and two on the rest. Middle finger is China Glaze Tart-y for the Party, ring is Orly Coachella Dweller.
